Terms of Service

(1) These Terms of Service apply to all contracts for the services of JB Group GmbH - S.r.l., Pillhofstrasse 17 / Via Pillhof 17, 39057 Appiano/Eppan (BZ), Italy ('Verifido', 'we'), concluded via the website verifido.it.

(2) Differing terms of the customer shall not become part of the contract unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

'Customer': the person or company (landlord, real estate agency) commissioning the service.

'Screened person': the prospective tenant whose financial reliability is checked at the customer's request.

'Report': the result of the check in the form of a PDF document with an A to E rating.

(1) Verifido produces, on commission, a report on the financial reliability of the screened person based on information available at the time of the query from official registers and specialised data providers (including protests, encumbrances, creditworthiness/affordability indicators).

(2) The report is a snapshot and is based on third-party data. It does not constitute a binding creditworthiness guarantee or a recommendation to conclude or not conclude a tenancy agreement. The decision rests solely with the customer.

(3) No specific outcome is owed (e.g., the screened person's future ability to pay).

The contract is concluded when the customer selects a plan, enters the required data, and successfully completes payment. By completing payment the customer accepts our offer.

(1) The prices displayed on the website at the time of ordering apply (Standard EUR 29, Premium EUR 39), each [excl. / incl.] statutory VAT.

(2) Payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe. Stripe's own terms also apply. The fee is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

(1) The report is usually provided within 24-48 hours of payment being received (digital delivery by email or in the customer area).

(2) Stated processing times are indicative and may be slightly extended, for example due to delays from data sources.

(1) The customer warrants that, before each check, they have obtained the screened person's explicit consent to the retrieval and processing of their data, and that the check is carried out for a lawful purpose (in particular the establishment of a tenancy).

(2) The customer is obliged to provide accurate and complete information.

(3) The customer shall indemnify JB Group GmbH - S.r.l. against all third-party claims arising from missing, invalid, or incorrectly asserted consent, or from use of the report contrary to its intended purpose.

The report is intended solely for the customer's internal use in connection with the specific tenancy under consideration. Transfer to third parties, publication, or commercial exploitation is not permitted without our consent.

(1) Consumers are in principle entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.

(2) As this involves the provision of digital content/services, the right of withdrawal expires early if the customer expressly consents to performance beginning before the expiry of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that they are aware of the expiry of the right of withdrawal.

(1) We do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of data sourced from official registers and third parties.

(2) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health.

(3) In the case of ordinary negligence, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.

(4) Any further liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

Details on the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. The check requires the screened person's prior consent (Section 7).

These are individual orders; there is no subscription or automatic renewal.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service with effect for the future. For orders already placed, the version in force at the time of ordering applies.

The European Commission's ODR platform is available for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings, but are in principle willing to do so.

(1) Italian law applies.

(2) The place of jurisdiction is - to the extent permitted by law - Bolzano/Bozen. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies (usually the consumer's place of residence).

Should any individual provisions of these Terms of Service be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
